Grow your own Fruit Farm

If you do kind things this goodness returns to you. This game is dedicated exactly to this matter. Once Flora has found an orchard. There an old man failed to put fruit on his cart. She helped him and he presented a magnificent gift to her. She get a pair of gloves filled with magic.

When she wears them and touches any tree with only one finger fruit start growing. Flora’s Fruit Farm let you grow your own wonderful orchard. Honeyslug and Eidos made their best to develop and publish this fascinating time-management game.

The plot develops in such a sequence: first you should choose a tree type to grow. After this a trunk of the tree appears. You move your mouse at this tree trunk and new branches appear there. When you continue growing branches you will see that fruit will be there soon as well. Every tree has its certain number of fruit.

When you notice that your fruit have ripe you should take the basket and gather fruit into it. Then when the basket is full you need to bring it to the cart where people are looking forward to buying them. First you should start from apple-trees but later you will be able to fulfill your orchard with various types of trees to please different customers’ tastes. If the tree is exotic it means that you would spend more time on growing it than on a common tree. Or if you don’t notice that they are ripe enough they can rot or be surrounded by insects.

But trees are not the only sphere of gloves application. You may use them to make your frits “shine” or be “oversized”. If you are tired of flies you may sprinkle them with the fairy dust. To enlarge the quantity of this dust you should have enough savings. There different types of them and their cost varies daily. So it is up to you to buy it at lower or higher price.

To pass to the following stage Flora should earn a certain sum of money that is a typical trait of time-management games. But this game differs in some way from other games of the same genre. Every orchard has its amount of stages and you are able to pass them in the order you like. You can even skip some of them. Flora can grow trees and if she gets enough money she is able to buy another one and move to it. Unfortunately your customers don’t stay with you and sometimes it is disappointing to start working in every orchard from the very beginning. A player doesn’t have any stimulus to alter the orchard.

There is a store where you are able to buy helpful things for Flora’s orchard or for Flora to move faster among the trees. You can also find funny decorations there and to make your orchard a comfortable place. The same story happens with upgrades: when you move to the next orchard you need to buy decorations again because you lose the old ones.

There are bonuses offered while playgame. You get seeds and acorns to attract different animals to assist in your work. For example when you see a butterfly that appears when you get certain plants you clock on it. Different butterfly’s colour means different bonus. Yellow colour allows you to get your gathered fruits shining. From time to time there may appear a problem that you do not have any fruit gathered.

This game becomes even more interesting on more difficult stages. You get more money and you have to manage wise with it. You should think before making operations with them. I like this very much but sometimes it is difficult not to spend money on magical things. I understood that it was almost impossible to keep myself from buying such an expensive magic dust. So every day you meet a problem to spend or to try keeping your money.

There are also some other drawbacks I have noticed. For example, it is impossible to stop action when it has already started. The other drawback is impossibility to know whether there are customers by buy my fruits. As I don’t know it I can waste my time and money growing fruits that are not necessary at all.

In general, Flora’s Fruit Farm is an exciting experience on time management and a possibility to gather butterflies for one more mode opening at the end. Moreover you have many extra challenges to try yourself.
