Diablo 3 will not come next year

The Head of Blizzard, Rob Pardo, confirmed once more that the date of Diablo III release had not been stated yet and added that the game would not come next year.

“We used to announce all our fun games too early,” said Rob Pardo, meaning the presentation of Diablo 3 at the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in 2008. “After our statements, there were some questions: When? How Soon? We understood we would not make such too early announces the next time and it would be much better to release a great game after a thorough work. I can say with confidence that Diablo 3 will not come next year.”
When Pardo was asked how long wait for the other expected projects, Starcraft II and an addition to World Of Warcraft, he made it clear that he was not informed about this: “Each game has particular teams of developers as we work very iteratively. We have a different process of design and attitude toward it than many other studios have, and this makes it difficult to name the define date of the release.”
