Alabama Smith going to the past

Are you a fun of Hannah Montana? You should stop thinking about her and start admiring Alabama Smith. Alabama Smith in the Quest of Fate describes her adventures. In spite of her very unattractive name (as for me, it is developers flow) this hidden object game seemed very fascinating to me. In some tasks you will meet the elements of point-and-click games that makes the best impression while playing.

Alabama Smith going to the past

If you didn’t play Alabama Smith in Escape from Pompeii you have to know its storyline to play the second part. There is a magical item called the Amulet of Time. It assists in returning to the past for correcting some mistakes done there in order to make the present times better. A promising archeologist Alabama and his pretty girlfriend Anastasia start the adventure from visiting Pompeii and then Macchu Picchu in Peru. They do it for preventing nemesis from finding magical items that will help him rule the whole world.

Alabama searches for the objects in his university that will help him during this journey. While searches gamers will get accustomed to the rules and style of playing. The puzzles to solve are disposed in the corner of the screen, so you see how many of them you have completed and have to complete. For instance, the first stage offers you 18 tasks to complete. Among the tasks you will meet the necessity if finding items, using the objects from your inventory list, reflect on using things that you meet in the surrounding area. There are puzzles of any kind for you to solve.

But here are some unique features that differ from usual hidden object games. Most of them offer a well-developed system of objects finding. Here much attention is paid to inventory system. Aabama Smith in the Quest of Fate makes you extract things from the environment to use them later in the gameplay. This makes this game be different and you – be attentive as never before. There is also one click that can change times – when you are in contemporary Macchu Picchu you can click a mouse and find yourself in Incan civilization of ancient times. So, it is made for you could have a possibility to pick up items in the past to solve puzzles in the contemporary time. You will be able to move some other characters in game except Alabama. When you complete all the tasks you will see one of two possible endings. Which of them it will be depends on your success while completing the tasks.

If you misclick your mouse you don’t get penalties. You are allowed to use as many hints as you need too. Each of them is available in a couple of seconds after you use the previous one. If you suppose that some tasks are too difficult for you then skip them – it is allowed to do. In general I got bright experience playing the game. The graphics was impressive as well as the scenes. Sometime the sounds were annoying as the music repeats too often.

As for the drawbacks of Alabama Smith in the Quest of Fate, they are. For instance some of the items you are looking for don’t have any relation to the whole scene. It made me startled to search for a pin in the ruins of Incan. I don’t say that all of them had no sense but such small mistakes can drive me crazy quite quickly. The second thing I didn’t like was a confusing performance of some items that a gamer should find. Sometimes there are more that one object to suit a given description. Some items from the inventory list could be helpful in some actions performance, but the game didn’t offer to use them.

On my mind, gamers who like adventure games with the elements of searches will like the game Quest of Fate. I will not assure you to start playing the game immediately but if you have some free time, please, do it; this will be a nice experience any way.
